We are delighted to be partnering with the fresh and creative production company, NORMAAL Animation. My grandfather, Max Fleischer, created Betty Boop as the fun, feisty and fashionable woman whose spirit has transcended and transformed multiple generations of fans. It is so exciting to know that this television series will present Max’s beloved icon through new, highly original content that will continue to keep Betty engaging and relatable to future generations of fans.

When we at Fleischer Studios heard this story, we knew exactly what Betty Boop herself would do; and so that's exactly what we did! We reached out to PAWS and donated the entire cost for the puppy's prosthesis.
We are also very pleased to report that this sweet Betty has found her forever home and, with the help of Dr. Barbara Royal, preparations are already underway for her prosthetic paw.
For more on this story, check out the terrific follow-up on FOX 32 News which aired on April 9, 2015. We'll keep you up to date on Betty's progress!
Did you miss Betty's Boobs-for-a-Cure last week on the Weekend Today in New York show? Well great news! You can watch it right here now!

In addition to an incredible animated sequence featuring Popeye, Olive Oyl, Bluto and Eugene the Jeep (remember him?), the video includes a short intro by Genndy Tartakovsky. Mr. Tartakovsky credits his first teacher, long-time Fleischer Studios animator Gordon Sheehan (who was actually an animator on the very first Fleischer Studios "Popeye the Sailor" film) with inspiring his life-long affinity for Popeye.
